About the Firm
In 2017, Brittney Alim was studying for her bachelor degree in accounting when she was asked to work on some estimates for a small subcontractor business. While working on this project, she realized how messed up the companies books where. She asked around and found out that other small businesses where having the same issue.
The same two problems kept coming up:
- They did not know how to manage their books.
- They did not understand the software.
Over the past two years, Brittney starting thing of ways to help these small businesses, especially since the IRS requires all businesses to have a set of books. Her solution to the problem was founding Alim Business Consultants. The company was created with the focus of taking the burden of bookkeeping, payroll, and taxes off the hands of small business owners for a price that is affordable.
To help these businesses even further, Brittney studied various business subjects from start up planning, entity formation, business plan writing, and more so that these small businesses have a one-stop solution to their business needs.
Owner & Founder
Brittney started her career as a janitor while studying accounting at Western Governors University. Her experience as a janitor led her to start her first business, Busy Bee Cleaning in Beaumont TX. The little venture was a success and met the goals of providing additional income to her family until she moved to Houston.
In Houston, she worked with a General Contractor as a receptionist, project coordinator, and accounts payable. During this time, she began to develop her idea and plan Alim Business Consultants. There were several subcontractors that she had met with that seemed to need additional assistance with bookkeeping and payroll.
When not working on the business, Brittney enjoys participating in scouting events with her children, camping with her family, and spending time with friends and family.
